Lead NVH Engineer – Electric Drive Units

Extent: Full time, 12 months with a possibility of extension 
Location: Gothenburg 

We are now looking for a Lead NVH Engineer to join an international development program for a complete Electric Drive Unit (EDU) for cars. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of NVH attributes and ensure customer requirements are met across performance, timing, and quality. You’ll be part of a global project team in Gothenburg, with close collaboration with an expert NVH team located in China. This role combines hands-on engineering with customer interaction and international teamwork — all within a fast-paced, cutting-edge electrification program.

As the NVH Attribute Leader, you will:

• Lead all NVH-related activities for the EDU project.
• Act as the go-to specialist for NVH topics, ensuring the EDU meets customer performance requirements.
• Analyze test and simulation results from rigs and vehicles.
• Drive discussions with OEM customers regarding requirements, results, and improvement proposals.
• Support and coordinate testing activities at customer sites across Europe.
• Collaborate with colleagues in China on simulation and testing tasks.
• Propose and drive technical improvements to meet or exceed NVH targets.

To be successful in this role, we see that you have:

- Extensive experience in NVH within electric powertrains or automotive systems.
- Ability to act as a project manager for NVH attributes (plan, coordinate, and align with customers and stakeholders).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in test methods and simulation tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with OEM customers.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- It's not a must, but it is considered an advantage if you are familiar with working in fast-paced, global automotive projects.
