Senior Planner

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to join our clients' project team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the successful execution of a large-scale project by developing, managing, and maintaining detailed schedules that align with the project’s overall objectives. You will act as a key interface between multiple stakeholders—engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning—ensuring schedule cohesion and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, project management expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in complex and fast-paced environments.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain the overall project schedule to support the successful execution of all project phases.
• Guide and supervise planning and forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment with the overarching project goals.
• Proactively interface with internal and external stakeholders across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning to gather planning input and provide timely schedule updates.
• Prepare and deliver detailed planning analysis and progress reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with area managers, the site team, and contractors to ensure cohesion and consistency across project schedules.
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts and provide solutions to mitigate project delays and risks.
• Monitor contractor performance against baseline schedules and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in project planning, particularly on large-scale or mega projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and a strong understanding of planning best practices.
• Solid project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate schedule risks proactively.
• Experience working on complex, large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, anticipating challenges and addressing issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
